kwakermad[TK] Posted July 9, 2016 Report Share Posted July 9, 2016 I have ordered a full resin kit from Doopydoos, God knows when I will see it. This will be my first build on my journey to TK status, and something to keep me busy till I save up for my armour from TM. I have and will keep referring to all the excellent builds on here and intend to blatantly copy some of the great ideas found in them. I have also got a couple of ideas and tricks of my own up my sleeve that I will try out and include in this thread warts and all. One of my ideas that I haven't seen yet is a fully working DD folding stock, but for this I am going to need several DD stocks. So does anyone have any unused DD folding stocks laying around that they would like to see the back of? Please PM me with details. I'm also unsure If anyone used the DD folding stock to make one functional, I am sure someone here can answer that question. So when Doopydoos finally get their act together I will be very busy. So the plan will be a Doopydoos with the completion set and a pipe build with Sterling parts, that is if I am able to get a parts kit sent into the UK. So as I have my induction troop on the 23rd I have been working hard to get my Doopydoos blaster sorted. Work began with the stockThrough and through detail sortedStock hollowed out, as I said before I wanted a functional stock but have opted for semi functionalMade my latching system from the tube from T-Jay, one of those touch screen pens, spring and half a screwfix pencil. I also scratch made a pivot cube. kwakermad[TK] Posted August 21, 2019 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2019 All the items that needed sanded to flush fit the barrel got shaped by me wrapping sandpaper around the rear of the blaster body and rubbing the item along inlineAnd the results Used the c section from T-Jays kit to make the rear clip. Was looking for a suitable spring material to make the clip look functional, I knew I had seen a suitable source but for the life of me I could not remember where. Then I remembered, it is the plastic storage/ dispenser for Stanley blades. Took it apart and removed the spring and cut it to size.
