Troopacoola[TK]
On the final stage of the lid renovation. All electronics removed and replaced. The only thing to left to do is install the wireless mic. Marc

Troopacoola[TK]
Quick question. After a couple of troops I feel I'm going to have to trim some of the back of the thighs / shins as bending the knees is proving a little difficult. Question 1..... can I trim the rear of the calves if required? Question 2...... can I get some reference pics posted so I trim correctly? Advice appreciated! Troopacoola[TK]
Ok so I think I'm pretty much done. Snaps hold the velvet in key areas supported by velcro all around the rim. This way it's fully removable in order to clean. Some areas look a bit rough in my opinion. But that's due to the stitching by hand. Elastic holds the blaster in place. I do however intend on improving the security of this by utilising some foam in the future. Clips and elastic hold the torso and limbs in place along with a small pouch for the soft parts. Did I say I was done? No, I still need to sort a case for my electronics and repair kit. Then I'm done... ...for now!
Troopacoola[TK]
Did I say I was done?? Decided that after a few troops that wheeling my trunk was a bit of a labour. Time to remedy that! I removed my kit, the lining, and all other bits from the trunk and lovingly placed the contents in an organised fashion in a safe place, or in other words, dumped it all on the couch! Next off was to remove two of the wheels Done! Now to cannibalise and make better use of a cheep clothes rail! A few zip ties and I was ready to test fit my new telescopic tubes. Tubes trimmed and bolts fitted to the inner tubes to stop them being fully extractable Next up. Fitting some pipe insulation foam to prevent the padding which sits under the lining from catching the telescope mechanism. Plenty of hot glue and a bit of e6000 and it's done! A fully functional telescopic handle. All for less than £10. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
