I think the side tube should maybe come down a little bit. Also either paint that red cap black or just cut the spout off. Otherwise its looking good.

And how do you cut these ends off? I left my Dremmel somewhere....a727c93c81b3daa1dbcf3d993bbc8487.jpg

Uhm...the rivet pliers should snip those off if the rivets are the correct length...

Found a 9€ longer antenna on Amazon. Is it OK to attach here like my colleagues in Spain did?

And last question before I drill and glue everything on, the sizes and all look OK?6c80f0f6dd135acb38bd04ef51bd5cf6.jpg6c80f0f6dd135acb38bd04ef51bd5cf6.jpg

Well, I can't afford to buy a shoulder strap right now, so I hope there is no problem in building my own tube detail! 2a00313a86aa5b7d7f181f40e36a5fd5.jpg

Most paint is finished, I hope I can begin assembling soon (I know the canister is missing a plate - will add tomorrow :) )e4a80ed82be47723f2c77c2230626603.jpg

It's starting to come together now, smaller pack as I intended, some tweeks needed here and there, but happy with the hours put into it :)834bcaa28f1c87cf3c1e0b7985fd34b0.jpg

Even if it gets rejected, I liked the idea of a tall WW2 antenna!

I felt inspired by the WW2 communication packs! I can ways cut it, but at 6"1 amd 253 pounds, the wife said it simply added more "space and width " to my presence :)

Been walking around the building with it today and got through all doors. I am 1,86 and the antenna reaches about 1,95 and looks great!
