RLH2515[TK]
Getting the seam at the top to be unnoticeable will be a challenge. But no rush here. RLH2515
Troopacoola[TK]
Here's another AM2.O thread. I've not read it through so it may be worth having a look http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/32013-AM-2.0-Armor-Build-in-Ohio Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
RLH2515[TK]
so we know what these are but how much do you trim off. No clue by pictures how far it stands up off armor. RLH2515
SheaJeff[TK]
I had the same question when I did mine. You trim all of that vertical edge off. Once you do that it should like up to be flat with the outlines in the ab plate
RLH2515[TK]
Ahh ha I see thank you. RLH2515
RLH2515[TK]
Got anxious I did. Dremel the bumps on the inside flat. That got the teeth almost square. Then finish off with the needle files. RLH2515
RLH2515[TK]
slow night just glued top of the bucket and shaped up the ammo belt. I found the holy grail of build threads for us AM 2.0 guys. Navajo bros thread is so in depth I'm following it for my build. RLH2515

RLH2515[TK]
I ventured into the helmet more tonight hopefully I'll have good luck with the ears tomorrow. RLH2515
KaiserW
Nice! How did you get the sides (where the ears go) to meet up with the top. Mine looks like this, and I was trying to figure how to redo it. It's almost like the whole back needs a spacer around it to line up better. SheaJeff[TK]
Those cheeks look good. Hopefully it will help you get small ear gaps.
RLH2515[TK]
Put the brow trim on I believe is the answer. I put mine on after I glued top and back and left it on never took it off. I used stickers for the traps though. RLH2515

RLH2515[TK]
well it took me most of the night on this one ear and I still can't get it perfect. I believe it will pass considering some of the gaps I've seen in screen shots. Look ok or would you do something different? RLH2515 I think those small gaps in the ears will be fine mate. You've done well to get it that close. It took me 8 hours to do my ears! RLH2515[TK]
I was just worried about it not going to where the top of the ear would meet the bottom of the cap. I could keep the ear gap smaller by doing the bottom screw first as per the advise I was given. RLH2515

RLH2515[TK]
Yeah that was two hours. I got tired. I'm thinking I can also. I'm gonna have a lot of holes I think under them ears though or hopefully it will just require trimming. RLH2515
