Krom1975
I started working on my thoughts this week. I'm wondering if I need to take more off the tops of my thighs for better movement. As they are now when I bend my leg up they dig into my hips. If I do have to take more off. Do I need to put a return edge back on? Here are some photos ----------- Edited January 6, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed
T K[501st]
Don't worry about the return edges. Though they give the armor an appearance of thickness, they are not necessary.
Krom1975
Thanks TK. How much movement should I have in the bend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Braden welcome to Stormtrooper armor, where its beauty and awe is only outdone by your inability to move in it freely, lol. There are plenty areas you can trim to increase movement like the return edges as Aaron suggested however, if you're shooting for EIB or Centurion I would encourage you to hold off too much trimming until you have all the sections assembled. At that time take some pictures of you in your armor (semi completed and taped together if necessary) then post some pictures so myself and others can give you more accurate advice. Looking good
dejango[TK]
Unless you want to move around a ton when you're trooping, thats almost perfect. I personally never intend to run or do long walks in my armor so it works perfectly for me
