I did not have a lot of major trimming as my size is close to the original actors.(5'10", 145 pounds) I did replace the belt from the start as originally it was discussed that the belt might hinder acceptance into the 501st. About the only major trimming I did have to do, was trimming the back of the top of the thighs.
