Leg comfort trims

Recommended Posts

Hi all - so I was recently 501st approved, and have my 1st troop coming up...but being able to actually walk in my kit would be a decided benefit! I know it's all down to the individual trooper, but any tips on how to trim the backs of the thighs/top of calves to allow more leg manoeverability? I can lift my foot up past a few inches. Worried about making too dramatic a cut and throwing the "look" off. Any pics of people's examples that work would be awesome. I'm 5'7" and sticky if that makes and difference.

I had the same question/issue... I cut "v" shapes like you'll see in the picture above. Worked like a charm!

Inside thighs were my second issue. You'll see drastic trimmings on those as well. I've come to realize there is no perfect model and when in doubt, check the "photo archives"
