TK-16309's MiniMag PTL Rocket Launcher

Recommended Posts

Completed building my mini mag PTL rocket launcher. I spent maybe $35 total. I looked at some troopers build threads here. I simply do not have a wood shop or the tools to cut intricate wood pieces. All I did was use what was laying around the garage. First thing, you will want to get the 38' length PVC at 4' wide from Lowes/Home Depot. I included (2) couplings and a female threaded coupling. These pieces became the 'projectile front and exhaust end'. I used blocks of wood and roughly measured the length to be 8' in the center of the tube. Drilled the pieces into the tube to make a box. Had a practice rubber 9mm to use as a firing grip and drilled that into the tube. Styrofoam pad from Dollar Tree for swimming became a shoulder guard. Added some details from stuff laying around the garage. Found a pressure gauge and looks like old pedal plates(?). Used a faucet valve, piece of vacuum hose, blue cellophane, and a metal ruler (from a paper hole puncher) for the 'target scope'. And old CB radio cigarette lighter adapter for 'wiring'. The main component is a 4' wide PVC pipe and couplings!
