ABS TK Armor and slight humidity?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I've got a small question that just went through my head.

So i just got my RS Prop Masters TK armor last friday and today, i decided to set it up on a mannequin in my hallway. It still needs some fixing and some parts are missing but the overall direction is pretty good, as i think.

The thing is that the mannequin is standing like one or two meters away from the bathroom door. Could the humidity that comes out of the bathroom after someone used the shower harm the armor on the long run? (yellowing?) My flat is, obviously, not as humid as the rainforest or something after someone took a shower and there is no moldiness here at all but i just felt the urge to ask this question, someone on here probably knows how to calm down this paranoia :D

Shower humidity isn't going to ruin the armour.

Think about the condensation inside from wearing it to troops. Besides, even if it does "yellow" over time, which it likely will. There's tons of polishes and cleaning solutions to help.

I think the thing that will possibly yellow the armor the most is the type of lighting where your mannequin is set up.  If there are fluorescent bulbs or others that give off a lot of UV light, that will cause it to yellow faster. Also, if it is close to a window where sunlight will directly hit the armor regularly.
