Looking good. It's amazing how fast that came together. You should be very proud!<br><br>

A few suggestions (yes, I know this is a test fit). Bring your biceps down and maybe your forearms up. Raise your thighs up. It looks like your belt is low or sagging. Move your drop boxes out a little to line up with the end of the belt. Secure the drop box backs. Add foam padding inside your thighs to loose the knocked knee look that most troopers have. <br><br>

Can't wait to see this in person at Fan Expo! You r so close!!!

For sure I can say the thighs are being shimmed so they can go higher and the boxes are being glued shut

Thank you all for your feedback. Please keep in mind this was only a TEST fit to see what needed adjusting.

 

On the list:

- A few small shims

- An adjustment to the right lower arm

- Belt and Boxes

- My Hair

- My muscles

- my strapping system

- suspenders

- Not enough booze..

- GIMME MY DREMEL!!!

- Vindication for Meshie

- Should I keep going?

 

Trust me.. there are a few adjustments.. but overall it looks good..

I just never would have made it for all the troops coming up and my Jawa is great, but there are more requests for TKs.

 

A short Story of my day!

 

So I have this crazy lady that sits beside me and snoops on what I'm reading sometimes and well...

 

She went on and on and on about Your and You're.. here is how the conversation went.

 

Coworker: "What does he mean in his signature?"

 

Me: "it's just a signature.. mind your own business"

 

Coworker: "Well.. Your is a possessive adjective, and You're is a contraction of you are. (enter 20 minutes of her going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.. and on and on and on about it while I ignore her)"

 

Me: "would you hush I'm trying to work and multitask!"

 

Coworker: "Sooo...  You are either SWAT or you are not?"

 

Me: "Whatever, He's a Sandtrooper. You know.. the ones that couldn't find the droids they were looking for.. maybe he couldn't find which "your" you're looking for"

 

Coworker: "huh?"

 

Me: Laughing my butt off!!

UPDATE:

 

I have my gear in hand. I had to do a little touch up painting on the shimmed pieces and started last night. Issue with it is that the paint had more gloss than was expected but covered well.. so now I'll sand it and clean it up a bit but shouldn't stop me from submitting for basic approval although my gear is pretty much Centurion level.

At a Friends Street Party With the Fire department 

 

One kid kept circling me over and over.. no matter which way I turned my handler was struggling to keep this grabby kid away from me..

 

Overall was fun and now I'm back to working on a zillion things like my TK armor which I have in hand and will be doing test fitting, minor sanding and pictures tonight hopefully.. only have myself to take the pictures as I can't rely on anyone else where I live to not need hours of instruction or direction on it.. so.. it's all me..

LoL.. Torok.. I work during the week which means I'm up at 3AM.. Too far of a drive. BTW.. fourth line south to oakville you can go pretty fast.. but still couldn't do it in 30 minutes.

 

No worries though.. I can take em on my own.

You're going to troop in it yes? Just take the pics at the first troop. The cg will understand and help out even at fan expo. Ask Steph to take them :-)

 

Because, unless you have a tripod, lights, clean wall, remote control or use the self timer, taking pics by yourself will end up just being annoying. Shins not straight, sniper plate under thigh, boot tops showing...
