Thats to simulate the "5th tooth" thats common on most screen used buckets. The hole isn't cut but the paint has a gap there.

Ah yes... I see it now!

Thanks!

That's correct Mike. I was going for that look.

Well, as for money, lets see...don't have the receipts anymore, but I'd say about $150 , give or take, including the helmet itself. Got it on eBay for 116.00 including shipping.

Oh, I forgot the ears, so closer to $175.00.

Ordered mine from there too. Should be here in about 2 days.

I ordered my second CE Stunt from Redford Films, and it showed up all beat to hell!

He doesn't double-box it, so good luck...

Mine had severe rub marks on the dome from the package being tossed,

and the actual packaging was nearly destroyed.

(and I'm in California, just miles from the shipper!)

Good luck...

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'll see what shape mine arrives in, if it's bad I think I might post a warning.

What shipping method did you use? I think my order was defaulted to USPS but I switched to the cheaper UPS.

I got mine from Redford as well ($67 on ebay :D ), and it arrived in great shape by UPS. Just a roll of the dice, I guess.

Yah, got mine there as well, but it was double boxed. The original MR display box and a nice shipping box. Might have been messed up in delivery and they (USPS) didn't rebox it. Mine came over the border and it was in great condition.

DD

Mine was shipped USPS, not UPS, and it only took a couple days.

It might have been beat up before they shipped it to me....? Who knows, but

the first CE Stunt I bought (from somebody else) showed up double-boxed.

The brown box and package box were put in a larger carton, with packing

peanuts, so it was perfect when it arrived.

It might have been just my post office, they are pretty wierd over there! LOL!

POSSIBLY a stupid question but what is MMD putty? Its not pink so its not Bondo so I am assuming some sort of modeling putty...

MMD putty, by the look of it is also known as Milliput. You can get it in two colurs - basic green/gray, and fine white. It's all purpose brilliant stuff. more expensive than bondo (or P40 inthe UK) but useful for all kinds of things.

Things not to use MMD Putty for:

-toothpaste

-hand cream/lotion

-hair gel

-shampoo

-sandwich spread

-silver polish

Sorry, had to do it.

Got my HERO ears and they are fantastic...the screw hole happens to line up perfectly with the upper screw I used to bring teh back of teh helmet tight to the front so I will simply remove that screw and go though the ear and then the helmet.

The only thing I dont have now is

Brow trim

my bubble lenses

Trap and Tear decals
