joebee[TK]
Hey all, My brow trim on my stunt helmet is too low and I want to raise it, so I figure it would be easiest to raise it by trimming the brow. My question is - what tools what I use to do this? A dremel, maybe with a file attachment? Or something else?
TyWebb1075[501st]
I used a Dremel with a cutting disc. Mark out with pencil the height you want the brow then cut slowly. Sand it down after and attach the trim. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Vaj
If possible I would not cut it. Better to disassemble the ears and change the angle of the faceplate by pullig it down. If you decide to cut then most plastics can be just cutted with a sharp scissor or an exacto knife.
TyWebb1075[501st]
^^ This will work as well. Just keep in mind that by pulling the faceplate down, you are slightly changing the size of the opening that your head goes in. I tried this first and my big head wouldn't fit so I cut the cap instead. Let us know how it works out. Good luck.
