Would you buy this?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I know the golden rule is 99.9% of ebay armour is recasts etc.

Some of you are keen eagle eyed and could tell from the pics (i cant :|)

Is this something i could work with for a 501st approved suit. ( i wanna build one)

--------------

I already messed up buying an SDS suit a while ago. I dont wanna do it again!

thanks

Good thing you posted this, Paul.  If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and that is certainly the case here.  There are a few ebay sellers, including rattlehead, etc., that say their armor is  "501st approvable", but this one is certainly not..  I would highly suggest sticking with the vetted sellers here on FISD under the "Getting Started..." section.

eBay is tempting... it is the quick and easy path, more seductive as Yoda would say. But there's a reason the vetted sellers are on this board; they make great armor. Also, the veterans here always warn against eBay armor for a reason; It just isn't worth if your goal is to have real movie-quality stormtrooper armor.

Unwatch the item, the PM one of the sellers. Get on a list and start the countdown for your big brown box!

Good choice on the ATA, Omar.  I have purchased armor pieces from them on several occasions, and always been more than happy with it.  Plus, their customer service is awesome!!

My mate bought one of these kits last night, because he's on a budget. We'd been to the Manchester Comic Con and checked out RS Props, even though he was really impressed by them and the armour, he said he just couldn't justify spending all that money on a Stormtrooper costume. I think he will regret it, especially when I purchase my armour from RS Props ðŸ˜
