chrskmbr Posted May 15, 2015 Report Share Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Only 326 of ~~100,000 needed by June 2nd! I signed it knowing It won't go through, but It really shouldn't happen. It would fun and great for sure, but it really takes away from actual "national days". There are already a bunch of unnecessary national days, and it takes away from real things like Memorial/Veteran's day, Mother's/Father's day, or things that stemmed from real issues like Labor Day. I think it would be kind of a shame if it were to happen... but then again this is the U.S.A. and nothing is sacred, I am not dissenting on that, just stating. Unless the decision is made to broadcast this on National TV, or a way everybody will hear about it, it may not get near the goal. Sincerely, Debbie Downer Update, 353 signatures now.
