Hope that will do it.

My build thread is here, if you anyone is interested in checking it out.

My plan is to go for Centurion, and then finish the armor as a full prop replica in the Tantive IV boarding party style.

Thx a lot.

Saludos.

Yes, very interested, Juan. Did you tone down your weathering on your armor? It doesn't look that weathered compared to your build thread. And you bought different boots!

I've never seen power cylinders angled that far out. Was that a particular screen trooper? (I know you're going for a particular look)

Anyway, fantastic armor. I'm sure you won't have any issues with EIB. Well done!

Looking good Juan, really good!!

I don't know if you can apply with two helmets though. You might have to choose between the two of them which one you're applying with. I personally prefer the RS one as i find the green layer underneath the white on the CAPW a bit off to me, too dark, not olive enough. It's maybe due to the pictures' lightning however.

I guess it's the Leia's escort, background trooper on her right.

Thx for your coments. :)

A out The weathering... I have not finished it as it will be. Been trying with different techniques so far I am not really satisfied but decided to submit a cleaner look due to the fact that the CRL won't really allow full replicas. More idealized look for EIB. So...

The cylinders... I look at many pictures and decided that there props were not made to meet a specific quality, at least not as high as what we have achieved in the 501st. I saw a few pictures of one blaster with a wonky angle on the cylinders and thought that could be a sort of statement on the look I am going for all around. Hope that was not too much.

And about the helmet. Truth is I have picture sets with both of the buckets but pictures with the RS were in smaller resolution. And the directions for posting needed higher resolution so I posted the cap-w ones. If that is an issue, I will post only with the RS.

Maybe the evaluation should be of the TM armor and the RS bucket. Leaving aside the Capw one.

Thx for you kind comments and for your help and encouragement.

:)

Oh. And the boots. I had these ones for the submission since a couple years ago. And just got the Chelsea ones a few months ago. But again. I decided to go for the more idealized conservative look for submission for EIB and eventually centurion rather than build a full replica to find out it is not allowed. I pretend to build a real replica with all the bells and whistles and gaffers tape.

:)

Hello Juan!! I am glad you finally decided to apply!!

Thank you for your application to Expert infantry! Let's take a look at your armor!

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

This was obviously a project long developed and well thought out. I appreciate your desire to build yourself and film replica suit. I hope that program can be developed. But thank you for supporting the basic requirements. And support it fantastically you did!

You have provided all required photos and few extra  :duim: . Your armor contains all necessary elements for Expert Infantry. With that, I would like to welcome you to EIB!  I will put your badge through. Your blaster has all the correct elements as well however, your action shot is pictured with a blaster that doesn't have power cylinders. Please take/submit a new pic with this so we can ad your suit to the archives!

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

I am super jealous of the troopers capable or wearing this suit. You deserve it and it looks fantastic. This section is usually used for comment towards improving armor sets, but there really isn't a whole bunch to say here. Well done!!

There was a concern with multiple helmets listed. At close review, only one helmet was ever worn for armor shots. The other helmet was just shared and is wicked cool! Thanks for doing that!

Your blaster weathering took an incredible amount of talent. It is very innovative and unique. I am glad you went back and glossed up the grip.

The only thing I would suggest is to hit all your bracket screws with some white paint.

Centurion Suggestions:

All aspects of your armor should be reflecting Centurion quality items. For this reason, please make sure that any picture you have of your blaster has those power cylinders on it.

There should be no visible gaps between your kidney and ab. For your application, breathe out, suck it in and tighten that belt to make those sides all come together.

Great overall work!! Thank you!

THX A LOT STEVE!

This will be a day long remembered... ;) at least for me.

It is a big honor and joy to get the EI Badge!

The miles walked by this detachment and its members is a big example for all of us  troopers willing to walk that path.

Thx for inspiring us and for leading the way.

Now... a few more mods and hopefully submitting for Centurion clearance.

And THX to all my bros for all your kind words and support.

Saludos.

Here are two pictures of me with this same armor/helmet setup in my last troop, the blaster is all done and finished with all the correct paint scheme and cylinders, but they dont see, to appear on the pict cause the blaster is the other way around.

Hope it works.
