ShavedWookie[501st] Posted October 27, 2014 Report Share Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Auckland Armageddon (our version of comic con – sort of), was held 24th - 27th Oct. This was the date I had been aiming for to have my TK ready & 501st approved. Unfortunately as there were issus with the supply of plastic for my helmet, I grabbed a loaner kit a week before the event and built a reasonable helmet but didn't get around to also getting approval. Thankfully Outpost 42, the local garrison, were good enough to let me troop alongside them over the weekend. I had the most fantastic time, spending about 19 hours in armour and meeting some amazing people. I suffered no major aromur breakages or bites, though some comfort tweaks will need to be made.
