I have been messing about with the picture size, in order to make them small enough (bit-wise) for posting, while still showing enough detail.

If you need larger pictures, please feel free to request them.

Nice! Love your strapping system. I cut off too much from mine and wished I didn't now.  I'm no expert.. .but looks like you might need to pull your shins down a tiny bit to cover over your boots... an easy fix.  Not sure if they'll want you to cut off a bit from the ab piece that overlaps on your right side...?  They might want your left side kidney piece to be pulled down a tiny bit to match up more with the ab ... so the rivets are side-by-side...? Easy peazy stuff, and it's been a few years since I had a build, so I could be mistaken. It's very NICE armour and a sharp build. Congrats! Jen

Hi Twan!  Congrats on finishing your RS build!  It's looking good!

I have some suggestions for improving the over-all look of your armor.  Please don't make any changes until you hear from the DO:

- The small elastic strip on your shoulders should be moved to the tabs on your back plate.  You currently have it between the chest and back tabs.

You have some good sized over-lap where your ab and kidney plates meet.  You can definitely cut that down and have a good join between the ab and kidney.

Your holster is mounted too far away from the end of your belt plastic:

You can make your buttons on your ab plate wider:

I believe you may need some close-up shots of your sniper and thigh battery pack.

Good luck on your app!

Tnx Jen.

I know about the high shin. I have used my initial 501st approval pictures.

In the mean time, I have made an elastic strap on the inside of both shins, which go under my heel (before I put my boots on). The straps are velcro'd to my shin armor, so I can loosen/tighten them as needed.

Thankx for all the suggestions, Ron.

There might be a bit of work to be done. let's wait what the verdict will be. I will definitly work on it later on.

As for the small elastics on the shoulder...easy enough fixed ;)

The other things, need a bit of tool time!

Hey Twan! Sweet looking armor brother! Most of what I noticed that might need fixing has been mentioned already. I'm gonna sit back and see what Steve has to say. An easy pass for EIB for sure. You will need some tweaking if you plan for Centurion. Good luck! :jc_doublethumbup:

PS. Dab some black paint or marker on your TD screws :D I'd also like to see a shot of the TD from the front. And I do think your ab/kidney needs to be lined up better. The third bottom most rivet(on the left side of your armor) should not be showing. And I think some trimming is definitely in order for the right side.(Ab)

hi Jason, thanks

I hate to sound like a Noob, but I am not sure what you mean with 'TD screws'

The only abreviation I know for TD is: Sandtrooper...

Hey there, Twan! Thank you so much for your EIB application! Let's take a look at your RS build!!!

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required submission photos have been posted. Photos of your thigh pack and sniper knee are required only for Centurion. Your armor has all details that Expert Infantry requires. With that, I would like to congratulate and welcome you to EXPERT INFANTRY!!!

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

This sections is for suggestions from myself and your fellow troopers that go toward the overall improvement of the look of your armor. These suggestions do not affect your applications.

First off, very nice, clean work on your build. IT is getting harder to tell if the trooper had the armor built or they built it themselves. Anyway, great paintwork on your helmet!! I like that you decided to paint your TD screws. Ron had brought up a couple points that I want to touch on. First, I agree that your holster placement is a tad far back on your belt. However at this point, any adjustment would leave unavoidable holes in your belt and it would need to be replaced. Something I am not interested in making you do. As for the small elastic on your shoulders these were installed to help keep the shoulder bridges in place. Moving them back a bit would help your armor do this. I would move them back for Centurion pics if you decide to apply.

Most all your leg and arm parts look like they were custon fit to you except your biceps. Although not TOO distracting, I think it would look so much better if they were brought down just a little to better fit your arms.

Aside from a couple things that apply to the next section, all looks great!

Centurion Suggestions:

If built right, RS is pretty much a shoe in for Centurion. Your set is so close but does need a couple small details thatI'd like you to follow up on before applying.

First thing is I'd like to see your ab buttons a little bigger. They should measure right around the 11 MM mark or come close to covering the raised areas without going over. Careful with that bottom button as it can get too big. While we are on paint, please dab all your bracket screws with white paint.

Next will take a little work. Jen had brought up some suggested adjustments on your ab/kidney fit. This needs a lot of adjustments. The way you have it presented in this application just looks like it is begging to be fixed. With your slim build, the overlap at the sides is just way too much. Plus, the hardware placements need to be close to 10MM in from the edge and there is no reason why that can't happen with your armor. I know you were just following the marks provided by RS. Here is what I see needs to be trimmed on your right side:post-19243-0-19423800-1407916690_thumb1_This is a screen used set and you can see where the seam is trimmed on the ab here:gallery_12157_16_598.jpgOnce properly trimmed, you will notice an instant improvement in both the fit and the appearance of the armor. Please make sure the ab and kidney tops are close to aligned for your Centurion pictures.

Are there any adjustments to your shins that you can do to keep them from riding up? These need to be down to your boots not sitting on top of them.

And lastly, you will need to obtain and install a charging handle on your blaster.e11boltz1-Copy_zpsec50a7a0.jpg

Let me know if you have any questions.

Congratulations again!!!
