AWESOME! I love ATA helmets. I have built 3 of them.

Just don't cut as much off as it looks like you should.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions!

I would square off the corners of those teeth with a file or x-acto blade, so the holes don't look like ovals.   :duim:

It looks like more can be taken out of the eyes. There is a distinct mold line on the inside of the helmet. Make sure you are trimmed up to that.

+1 on the round teeth. They should be squared off.

Great! thanks for all the feedback!! will try to square off the teeth... I've been trying to get the humbrol paint, but it's been quite hard to get them here in Colombia, are these and testors  the only paints used?? will upload progress pics soon :)

+1 on the file. Teeth are a personal preference , some prefer round, some more squared. I do prefer the sharper squared off teeth, but the roundies don't look too awfully bad... Good luck with your out post.

I have ordered my ATA kit as well. On the waitlist waiting.

I have a question, I have seen different takes on this but does the kit need to be painted. I know the ABS already comes glossy/shiny but should you create another coat to give the correct movie effect? Or just leave as is since the ABS material is already ideal?
