From what I can tell it's not really an issue of my size, but simply with the MC armor itself not being long enough around? Looking at pics, it seems to be the kidney plate which just doesn't come around too much, as other armor makers plates look to curve around the waist much more than the MC. Wondering if anyone else can confirm this, as I would perhaps like to just seem out and get another maker's kidney plate to see if that closes the gap. See other troopers with ATA and other makers who are larger than me and don't have gap issue. The gap on my MC is about 2" on each side and it's about as tight as I could make it. And I guess if anyone has a spare kidney plate of a ATA or similar sized they could perhaps sell me, contact me please.
