jedi9337
I, and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but, I have an AP armor set that I seem to have somehow outgrown lol. I think I need to start all over with my thigh pieces. Where is the best place for me to look to try and find replacement thigh pieces? Thanks, Jason
gmrhodes13[Staff]
From the maker, have a look in the getting started section, some armor makers will sell seperate pieces
TK-1422
If you have trouble getting replacement pieces, PM me. But honestly, please consider a "shim" piece hidden in the back or inner thigh so your armor color will match. All plastics dis-color and start to break down with age and your new replacement pieces will stand out. Simply cut the armor on a seam (that's not seen by viewers) and add a strip of ABS spacer plastic and reglue. It'll look much better than a replacement piece and you'll be able to extend the wearabiility of your current set. bjsavage7[TK]
Yes, a shim, as Kevin describes, is worth trying before replacing the entire pieces.
