Don't forget to paint the side rivets, knee belt rivets and strapping screws white. ;)

Ā

No worries mate....that will be the last thing to be done once everything else is finished..... Thanks for the reminder..... :salute:

So here it is folks....I'm about 99% done with the armor. all i have to do left is paint the side rivets along with the bracket screws (was going to do it tonight but turned out i ran out of white paint).

Ā

I have tried to assemble this armor as close as screen accurate as possible, but it seems that i have difficulties finding a few small parts for the armor. I was able to find parts that are close to screen used, so they will have to do for now. but i will still be on the hunt for more accurate parts to make this armor even better.

Ā

Any comments and critiques are welcome.... There is always room for improvements. I going to start with individual parts and close with the suited up pics... Enjoy Troopers... :salute:

I know that snaps on the chest plate and ab is not very screen accurate, but i need them there for me to be able to wear it. But no worries, i kept all the accurate bracket strapping on the armor so it does not change the look from the outside...

And as it turns out, finding the right flat head screws with the right thread is not easy where i live... until i get the correct screws, these will have to do for now..

And here are the suited up pics.... it does seem that I'm just a little too short for this armor, but I'm pretty happy with the overall build.

Im lovin this. great work! How do you like it compared to ap. fit, size, look and everything?Ā

Ā

Thanks Pat, when we compare the AP to RS size wise, i think the AP would fall under the smaller side. So for my body size, i think the AP would make a better fit, but even then, i still trimmed a lot off the AP. I remember trimming the chest plate, kidney plate, butt plate, back plate, thighs, shins. So i trimmed all the parts on the AP, including separating the cod from ab to make it look best. Now on the RS, i wasn't comfortable trimming that much of the armor so i just left it the way it is. But the overall look, i lean more towards the RS, perhaps its because its screen accurate.

Ā

Although the suit is made for people that are 5'8 - up,Ā  i think even people with shorter heights can get away with using the RS suit, I can be proof of that. And if being a stunt TK fails, you could always get a Hero bucket and do an awesome Luke replica suit.
