How was the Counter installed on the E11 blaster

Guys,

I wanted to know if anyone of you had any pictures of how the counters were attached to the E11 in ANH?

Any screen accurate way of doing it?

I've played a lot with it looking at it from every angle, but I didn't wanna mess up my scope rail since I had done a pretty good job at fitting the screws invisibly on it.

I'd like suggestions or picture of it (screen accurate).

Thanks for your help, I can't wait to consider that gun completed!

Cheers

As far as i know it was just glued on. You can see in the pics where it has fallen off the left over glue.

check this thread for nice pictures to look at

There's an L shaped bracket that has 4 drill holes in it. 2 on each face

The top 2 holes are used to help put line up the brass screws that hold the scope on the rail. The L shaped bracket then holds the box with another 2 screws. :)

Proper counters have a plastic casing on the lower half, this is drilled onto the other face of the L bracket

Hi, this might be a stupid question, but does the "L" bracket point down?  Meaning one piece of the L attaches to the bottom of the scope rail and the other part of the L points down and attaches to the counter?  Is that right?

I heard that the parts added to the Sterling smg were glued on.

I guess the original post is very old. But indeed they were glued on, you can see glue residue on this blaster:
