looks great very clean. I did notice one little thing your shoulder straps could move up a bit on the chest plate, that way they will cover the back plate a little better for you, other than that EXCELLENT WORK! nice job and good luck trooper.

Always awesome to see a well assembled RS suit!

But your action shot hasn't much action, eh?

Just kiddin ;-)

Haha, I was thinking that shot was pretty bad too, I just needed someone else to confirm it. Let's try this one.

I had actually moved the back plate up after I took that photo, just forgot to send the current shot which is hopefully better.

The CRL's state split rivets. Is this out of date?

I was going by the CRL which I assumed was current.

Split rivets are permitted, but the ideal is cap rivets. Split rivets are allowed in order to let those that have invested in the correct type of ab rivets, re-use any spares instead of having to order even more rivets. That was the idea anyway. But if you have cap rivets laying around, feel free to replace them. But it won't interfere with your applications.

Easy approval! :duim:

Thanks so much everyone, I am humbled beyond words to be joining the EIB ranks.

A big thanks to anyone that ever posted a tutorial, photo, build thread, etc. The information here proved invaluable.

Would the split rivets be an issue with Centurion? Not sure if I just had a brain-fart when I was assembling or what, but looking back at RS's originals I can see they're caps...doh!

I'm digging through my left-over kit parts to see if I still have more.
