Drop box attachment

Recommended Posts

In looking at various posts images etc, I've noticed that some have drop boxes fastened with two rivets and some have it with one. What are the advantages of either? Is it relative to how it fits on you and one hangs better depending on your size and build?

And some were just glued on to the elastic. 1 rivet should be the most common but there were differences.

Great, thanks. : )

Oh and as for attaching the ammo belt to the canvas, how useful is using Chicago screws instead of rivets?

How often or likely is it the ammo part would be taken off?

Repairs, cleaning? Other?

Mine are glued & velcro'ed in the cleanest way I could manage it.

I have never removed my ammo from the belt... hmm.

I have snaps going through the canvas to the ab plate, and the ammo belt is held on with velcro. Never been a problem.

Hope that helps :D

I use two rivets on my Stunt belt and after doing some searching a more accurate one rivet for my Hero belt.

Cap rivets. Make it permanent. You should never need to separate the two.
