Last Sunday the German Garrison was invited to take part at a bone marrow donor registration event for 15 year old Alina. She has leukemia and her only chance is to find a matching donor. 9 Troopers attended the event, we took several pictures with possible donors and their children and collected some donations for the DKMS. 1025 had registered themselves as bone marrow donors at the end of the day and more than 9000 € were donated.
