AJCG
I would suggest to crop the eyes orbit slightly bigger. Cheers A
rapstertee
I would suggest to crop the eyes orbit slightly bigger. Cheers A Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure what you mean. The eyes are trimmed as large as I can go, as I prefer a larger eye hole.
rapstertee
Here's a front pic taken last week, hopefully you'll see the eyes better.
rapstertee
Update - I've now reduced the black ear marks to ONE per side, not two.
aliens8us
Update - I've now reduced the black ear marks to ONE per side, not two. There's an Imperial or Stormtrooper ranking chart somewhere floating around on this site. I'm going to go for the rank of Corporal, because that was my rank when I was Active Duty Marines. Your Right eye (left facing) looks like its not trimmed aligned, like there's a curve. Overall, good job with the painting! Don't think I have the patience to do that detail! usaeatt2
I think the right eye looks different because it has the infamous stormtrooper "stye in the eye". The stye looks slightly too large though. Most I've seen have a "bump" along the bottom edge, but the eye returns to normal curvature before reaching the inside corner. In other words, the stye doesn't reach the inside corner nearest the nose. That's tough to describe! Then again, maybe it's just an odd angle with the photo. Other than that, it looks really nice to me. Dude, you nailed it with the hand painted details! Nice work! Good job with the ear gaps too! Dark PWF[Staff]
Update - I've now reduced the black ear marks to ONE per side, not two. I was headed to the bottom of the thread to post this one, the CRLs for higher approval state that no more than one ear bar should be painted black for ANH TKs. If I wanted to use my actual rank, I'd have to go ahead and make an ESB TK. :/ There's always the "next" one, I suppose. LoL Looking good, Terry.
