Garbz[TK]
Has anyone took a Rubies TK and modded it out so it can become approvable? If so is there a Thread?
Dday[501st]
Yes, and yes. Try the search in the upper right for rubies or the like to find some threads on the subject. It is a lot of work and you still end up with a mediocre suit. Sell the Rubies, then buy another set of armor from a reputable armorer and be happier with the look, feel be around the same price as with the rubies. Garbz[TK]
I have a MC/T kit. I'm trying to find an alternative solution for a potential member..

Nicky
.......ok I'll just ask: how did you end up with a rubies armor?
theisaac
You can sell the rubies on ebay and buy a more accurate kit that will be a fraction of the work to get approved.
Nicky
I still think I'd like to know how a 501st member or the contact he asks on behalf of managed to get himself a rubies before advising him to pass the curse on to someone else and make money out of it. Darth Hilarious
perhaps the guy doesn't actually have the kit in hand, and is just asking about his options
