Hi Dan, I can see from this application that your sights are also set on Centurion!

Here's a couple of pointers ...

Thigh ammo pack bottom curve needs more rounding.

Ammo belt 45 degree cuts look a little shallow

Your biceps are too large for your body.

By shrinking your biceps for a more form fitted look, this will also help you bring in the bottom of your shoulder bells.

The rest of your overall look appears superb.

I presume that you know about Hasbro blasters for Centurion.

Good luck with your EIB.

Ps. I was wondering why with such a high standard build that you have used Velcro strapping?

There are many reasons not to use Velcro such as ...

1. Every time you put on your Armour, a previous adjustment will have moved.

2. It will fail on you whilst out trooping at some point.

I'll take a look at some other pictures and adjust the ammo belt rounding and belt bevels. That should be a nice easy fix.

Good tip on the biceps, chances of me hitting the gym are slim, so I might as well take them in alittle ...and maybe cover strip them in the process. I've never been 100% happy with how they looked, I just didnt know why ...now I do!

Centurion was in my original plans, once I decided what weapon I wanted. The hasbro was a temprary, get to troopin' call. With the change to requiring cover strips in the works, I may or may not pursue it, though if i do it likely won't be for a while, after all that work, I'm ready for a break :)

The velcro strapping was a temp to perm solution for me. I did most of the build including strapping without the help of someone to hold or move things for me. The velcro gave me the ability to make adjustments. Now that I'm confortable with how things go together, I may look at a more perminant solution.

Thanks for all of the advice, this is my 1st full armored build and it was quite a process ...very different from the TIE Pilot :)

Have a look at this Centurion application submitted today also with shall AB ammo belt corner cuts.

The tech details of how to measure and cut are around the 4th post :)

I took in the biceps over the last couple days as well, I have to agree they look much better. I wish I would have done that from the start, because I REALLY didn't like the idea of breaking my armor :)

Much better. Approved! :duim:

Did your new photoshoot include an action photo or should I take one of the above?

PS, don't forget to paint your rivets (all but the crotch) white.

Roger that, I was not 100% sure about that, so I erred on the side of safety, I'll take care of it though!
