Which armor is easiet? Whats a good starting point?

Recommended Posts

I am just starting out. I have been doing some studying but still am clueless as to which would be easiest for someone who has no building skills. I am 5'7", female, average build/broad shoulders. I feel I need more direction. My goal: is to put aside my SL and go the TK route so that I can troop by like Christmas.

Thanks for any opinions.

Sounds like you're about my height. Any of the more accurate kits should fit you well. Don't be afraid of trimming a bit. With a set of lexan scissors you'll have a breeze.

As Locitus said, you're height will make you good for most armors. I'm also about 5'7" and I wear an ATA comfortably. There is also this thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18243 which is useful for women and troopers of smaller stature.

Mark's CfO armour is very easy to assemble, all the parts match up perfectly and you don't need to do any trimming. It is one of the easiest I have found...

Edit: I meant to say heating of parts not trimming!

There is a definitely a difference in difficulty of assembly if you have assembled a few different branded kits.

You could make AM fit you as we'll just a tad more work. I'm doing one now and hope to be don't in a week or so at most. I've seen an ATA in real life and have on if their helmets and its pretty dang nice in my opinion.

No armour is really 'easiest'. There will be trimming involved no matter what. You'll get the hang of it real quick, don't stress too much.
