Moose's ATA Helmet Build

Recommended Posts

Received my ATA helmet in the mail yesterday. Excited to get things rolling.

I can pretty much see the lines I need to trim at, but to be safe ill trace them, post some pics, and then get your opinions. Dont want to screw this up.

Marked the lines on my helmet. Some areas have 2 and are numbered. Im not sure which one to cut at.

Also not sure if I need to trim the forehead area of the faceplate or not. Looks like it ok already. Any help

would be appreciated. Thanks.

One thing I wish I had done with my ATA is made the bottom where the two halfs connected longer, for a better connection.

It's like Serge says, cut a little and cut more if you need. Most of the side cuts are hidden under the ears anyways, so leaving a little extra isn't a big deal.

Looking great trooper, I used a small square file to make the teeth a bit sharper on the corners. I did find taking out a little more around the eyes gives you a lot more vision. Be watchin your build, good luck :smiley-sw013:
