haunted toilet
I know this is probably a really stupid question that has been answered many times before but I cant seem to find a definitive answer using the search function, so here goes. I am need to attach my latex painted handguards to the correct type rubber gloves, the question is will E6000 do the job just fine or is there a better adhesive for doing this? Cheers, Ken
ObiHahn[TK]
Use a kind of liquid superglue instead, like Loctite or krazy glue. E-6000 will not do the job here since it's more akin to thicker hot glue when cured.

gazmosis[501st]
Karin herself has suggested loctite superglue for plastics. It has a primer pen that purifies both surfaces for the glue. I don't think the glue is special, just the primer pen.
Griffin-X[TK]
I used Gorilla Super Glue Gel...worked great.

For latex hand guards, you can skip the primer, which is only necessary for the white rubber ones Karin
Drftfan[TK]
Superglue doesn't tend to flex. If your in the states using dap contact cement to bond latex plates to rubber gloves is a more secure way to go. You can get a small bottle of it at any home depot for 4.00. Apply some to the gloves and the plates. Wait a minute till is is sticky then just push the two pieces together. Bonded.
