tkrestonva[TK] Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) This weekend Garrison Tyranus and Freedom Base trooped the 7th Annual Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular in Spotsylvania, VA. This was one of those once-in-a-while troops with the Rebel Legion which I really wish we did more of. It was blazing hot (90 degree temps and humidity) and the crowds were expected to reach 30,000, but we were set up in a shaded area with access to a well-equipped break room. Everyone did a fantastic job - especially our handlers. Plus, we had the Star Wars Theme and Imperial March playing in the background, which added an extra touch of atmosphere. This will likely be my last opportunity to troop before DragonCon, so I was really looking forward to doing this. Today's featured stormtroopers are myself and A.C. (NoVATie). Despite my ESB rig, I decided to bring the DLT-19 as well - I had a feeling it might come in handy today.
