matt black Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Hey folks. What is the better way to go when building a pipe E11. Should I put a spring inside so you can see it along the long thin hole on the side or make this solid? I like the look of the spring bit if I put a length of wood in there I will have something to screw the handle to. What should I do? Thanks, Rob. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 You could to both. Add a piece of wood as the receiver, and attach the cocking handle to that, and add the spring behind it. Quote

pandatrooper[TK] Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 A cheap "fake" spring mod. Go get some aluminum wire from a hobby store (used for making armatures for sculpting clay figures) wind it around a smaller diameter pipe like 1" and match the spacing of the real spring. It will expand slightly when you remove it from the pipe, then glue the bolt on one end and slide it inside the back of the E 11. Quote
