Curious what did u use for the weathering?

Answered this before already :) let me know if you need more info

thanks mate,

To get the grimy look its just a black acrylic wash, dabbed on with a rag and dabbed off straight away with another rag for the lighter areas, and just didnt dab off as much for the darker areas (hope that makes sense) After painting on the blue, I sanded down the entire armour to give it a matte finish... then the weathering was applied. My battle damage was just done with different grade sandpapers, whereas I think rick used a bit of masking fluid to get paint chips on his.

Thanks Mason! One thing I noticed is that it doesn't look quite as "angry" as before :P

Just redid the vocoder and ear details on satin black aswell, looks better than the matte I had before :P

Hi Sean,

I'm in the middle of building my TK Commander as we speak and have just found this thread.

Amazing work and this has pushed me on to get mine finished.

My current progress is viewable here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=17989

Any comments or advice is appreciated.

been doing a bit of work on the TKC lately, getting it back up to standard :P

what I've changed since my last update:

New kidney/butt plate

Latex handguards on rubber gloves

More accurate brow trim

New ears

tightened up and reshaped top of thighs

shin closure corrected

accurate rivets on the torso and belt

I still have to get a rotj blaster and make a game model Thermal Det then I should be at centurion standard (I hope)

anyway, here are some photos!
