Shovelheadjedi
So i would like to make some paste. I get how to do it.... But, im wondering how to store it! my question is: will the abs and acetone combo form a gas an make the container explode due to pressure? I will be mixing the paste in a glass baby food jar. An i dont want to accidently make to much an throw it away, because im sure i will be needing it with my other 2 helmets im working on. Im sure whoever has made this has some advice for storage. Or if its better to mix a little then throw it away?
puro
Acetone is not going to form any excess gas with ABS in room temperature. Acetone is very rapid in evaporating, though, so either make small amounts for immediate use or store the container tightly to minimise the evaporation! TK bondservnt[501st]
keep it in a sealed glass container, if it evaporates just add more liquid. cool dry place is best.
