Hello, Hello to you all! I'm loving all the interesting info on this site. I already have my AP armor, built, and trial run tested. Now I'm spending all of my free time making it "wearable" without all of the armor pinch, and trying to make it to fit my pear-shaped body type (darn you anorexic actors from the '70's) I'm struggling with finding out how to "snap attach" the belt to the armor now so that it doesn't slide up and rip off my ab buttons. Are there any suggestions? reference pictures? Should I just epoxy the belt in place? Thanks for your interest, and you'll most likely see me trolling on this site when I devote the time away from repairs... c'ya!
I as of this writing do not have armor, that's why i'm here. like most i had seen episode IV: A New Hope when it originally came out and have been a fanboy since! i would love the chance to march in parades and events with other troops, to make hospital visits, to bring smiles to people everywhere and perhaps inspire others to join up and appreciate everything Star Wars (and the dark side!). i'm finally getting some of my back pay from the Veteran's Administration (disabled combat vet) and want to use most to bring family to Disney before the boys get too old and while daughter can appreciate it (of course during a Star Wars Weekend!). i'll have some put aside to purchase/build/whatever to have my own armor; i would like to do it without spending tons but having a good, reliable set and be able to join the 501st also. i'll check the forums often, this post and if allowed share information where i can be reached off here too. thank you all very much for welcoming me to this galaxy far, far away! Thomas

LITE kits i am currently sold out of, and should have more in mid October which may be cutting it a bit close for Halloween time. I can wait for for a lite kit, I could get it now but i know i want a diff bucket will i be able to get ABS/cement/polish at Home debpot? I'm pretty sure i needed to pick a different bucket to stay proportional or so i've heard (otherwise i can just get the full). I'm just trying to do this right the first time. Hopefully i can stop by someones house and they can help me fit/size it all correctly. I've read about build days and such. if anyone's doing anything id love to just observe. Any more advice would be great. I have cash to spend, but doing my best to not jump the gun and stay as economic as possible.. as of right now i'm waiting till Oct 14 when the LITEes are back in stock and i'm gonna find helmet/undergarments somehow
