  1. No helmet yet, they said it would be a couple of weeks away. Yes the ab and butt plate came with the snaps pre installed.Im building it for display but I would definitely troop in it once or twice .Though I would have to go on a pretty serious diet for it to fit.
  2. Hi everyone, This is my RS build with the HPDE helmet This is the second time I've delt with RS and both times the armour has arived in about a week from making payment.Thats from the UK to Australia by the way. Anyway my armor turned up on thursday. I've got all the bits laid out for the usual un boxing pic. A couple things worth a mention is theres no duplicate parts and some of the parts seem a tad bigger then my AP And then theres one thing that stood right out, the Ab plate which doesn't line up with the cod. Every part is different and has a lot of character. The off aliment of the ab and cod. The orignal strapping kit. I'm very pleased with the kit .Its AWESOME!! I'm starting on the torso 1st.Ive cut out the chest and ab and at this moment not to sure about how much of a return edge to leave,so I'm being fairly generous. I should mention that the ABS is 1.5mm just like the movie Armour and is no where a solid as my AP(2mm ABS) Now if I was a serious trooper I would have gone with the PVC,which they also offer and is allot more flexible and thats what RS recommend for trooping. hopefully more progress tomorrow.
  3. It does look like it in that pic but no.the AP #3 green welding shield and the RS has the AP film. How are those ears comming along?
  4. thats my point but no paint just a polish
  5. Now all I was tryng to say was.You could try and sand back the line left from the mold.not back to the line which would create a gap. from this to this .
  6. My AP and RS Now can I post here? or do I still need A couple thousand more post to qualify?
  7. I dont mean sand down to the line.I mean sand the mould line out and blend it in with the rest of the ear.do you get what I mean?please dont make me use photo shop
  8. I can see your point but the molded lines on the ears look a bit off .You could sand them back to get the effect you want.
  9. 8 days and the armour is here.Hows that for service! A couple things worth a mention is theres no duplicate parts and some of the parts seem a tad bigger then my AP And then theres one thing that stood right out, the Ab plate which doesn't line up with the cod. All the bits. Every part is different and has a lot of character. The off aliment of the ab and cod. The orignal strapping kit. I'm very pleased with the kit .Its AWESOME!!
  10. Cool mate. The ears could do with a trim.
  11. Haha don't doubt yourself Ingrid, beer or no beer i'm that sexy .
  12. Still some fine tuning to do but all most done. Just like to add this photo was taken looking at a mirror
  13. It looks like your chest armor is sitting high but I dont think trimming the neck line will help . When you put on your helmet it looks like it will sit on your chest plate and you wont be able to turn your head.Maybe you could try and lower the chest plate.I'm no expert either but try everything else before cutting anything.
  14. score and snap buddy

  18. Good point but what about Lukes Tk belt ? different to the rest of the TKs but no mistake.
  19. Yeah I don't know about that but it's definitely worth questioning
  20. Heres the 1st,I think he's the TK behind Mr no strips and the there's one or two more TK's with out holsters at the start of ANH after him.
  21. I've got one so Im going to use it any way ,but was under the impression that if you see it in starwars its allowed.
  22. I just got my holster today and was comparing it to some screen shots when I noticed not all TK's have them.So do you need a holster for approval?
