  1. Just saw this on ebay:----------- Who would buy this?
  2. Wow, everything looks gorgeous! I think your blaster looks especially amazing!
  3. Looks great! The only thing that stood out to me is in the second photo down: can see a lot of skin on your wrist. Don't know if it's because the gloves aren't long enough, or maybe it just rode up in that shot. Well done!
  4. They are available in size 10, that's good. I really wear a size 9, but perhaps with my shoe inserts in as well, I could fill out a size 10 better.
  5. Yeah, they don't look that great either. I guess I'm just worried about not being able to get some decent boots in my size when the time comes (size 9-10). I guess I could always buy some jodphur boots and put some white polish on them, but they won't look nearly as good and will need constant upkeep, which doesn't seem any fun.
  6. OK, how about these boots on ebay, does anyone know about the quality and/or comfort of these? I'll admit, that the soles don't look nearly as comfortable as the caboots version.
  7. Fun images to study, thanks for posting them. The trooper in the very first photos is also missing his drop boxes. Clearly these stunt versions of armor where meant for way more wear and tear than any of use do while simple trooping in them.
  8. So are they making the smaller sizes now? Their site says the smallest size they have available is size 10. I need a size 9 or 9.5.
  9. I totally agree with you, but it seems that this is the protocol that has already been established. I personally would love a publicly published list of vendors, their prices and their contact info, but I think there is a big fear of them getting shut down by Lucasfilm. Of course someone from Lucasfilm could easily create an account here on the forums and get all the info they needed just by asking via PM's. Anyways, I don't want to hijack this thread - I personally will be getting a Master Replica's helmet when the time comes. I'm not a big fan of the smaller mouth and how the ears stick out a big farther from the head, but in person, they look really nice and impressive. I think it's a good deal for the price. Plus, you don't have to assemble it!
  10. I was just passing along the different types of helmets and their prices I'd received in a PM from a helpful member. Probably not the best to post the prices publicly right?
  11. I hear ya, I too am trying to see how little I can spend while still creating a quality set of armor.
  12. I just bought these gloves on ebay and they are so awesome. Really impressed with the quality and comfort for such a good price.
  13. Wow, glad I asked. Thanks for the heads up, I will stay away like the plague!
  14. Since CaBoots is currently not making any smaller size boots (I am a size 9) I was curious to know if anyone has had any experience with these type of boots found on ebay: Ebay boots If anyone can tell me about the quality, or comfort etc, that would be helpful.
  15. Just came back from the thrift store with my black turtle-neck shirt - only $3.00!
  16. Dang, Star Wars and Major League Baseball, it doesn't get better than that! Nice turn out of TK's too, the more white armor, the more impressive it is!
  17. Oohhh, that's a great suggestion, I like that!
  18. If you are 6'4" you should consider being Darth Vader!
  19. Those are probably more screen accurate but you'll sweat to death in them!
  20. These pics do look great! I was wondering what material is your neck seal? In the first photo with the helmet off it looks really nice. Did you make that by hand or purchase it somewhere? I love that rubber type of material look vs. the cloth look.
  21. OK, are there certain areas of the boards I should be looking in? Or is it better to do a 'search' on the topic?
  22. OK, I'm NOT asking where I can buy these helmets, I'm just curious as to what the general price ranges are for the different types of helmets since I'm new to all of this. I know that the horrible Don Post and Rubies TK helmets are pretty cheap, and I know that a Master Replica runs around $120. I was wondering if people could fill me in on the price ranges for the higher end helmets.
