  1. Some people also use pinstriping tape to get the black outline around the ears.
  2. From the troopers I tried, only Paul's picture did not come up. Are there others that don't show up for you?
  3. Funny how "weird" the mirrored helmet pictures look.
  4. HIPS is high impact polystyrene - a type of plastic. It's thin compared to ABS, which most suits are made of, but since you shouldn't be bumping your helmet around on things, it's fine for buckets. The thinner plastic also shows more detail than a thicker plastic. You want to avoid this seller because he is recasting AP parts. AP is a seller here and you should support him instead of supporting the guy ripping him off.
  5. The weathering job is fantastic. What's your techique(s)?
  6. Great looking helmet
  7. You might also be able to find a tinted visor for a football helmet on ebay for cheap. Motorcycle visors are kind of expensive to just cut up for lenses.
  8. See if this tutorial from the reception center helps you out: ----------
  9. Pull the cod closer to your body. You might have to run some tape as a temporary crotch strap. See if that brings the two body armor halves into better alignment, then you will be able to tell if you need to shim.
  10. Ugh. Noooooo is right haha.
  11. Already got you in your ESB approval thread, Dave. Check your title
  12. I stand corrected. CRL says green OR smoke. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_hero
  13. Where in Germany are you stationed? I just came back from a trip over there. If you're going for ANH hero, then you'll need smoked bubble lenses and not green flat ones. I haven't seen AP's holster, but you can make your own, or check out the sellers here on the forum. People offer squirrel cage fans or you can buy some computer fans and wire them up yourself and run them off 9 volt batteries. I think the hyperfirm will work for Centurion, but you can also scratch-build an E-11 with PVC pipe and the various addons.
  14. AM or RT mod will probably for your height better but will most likely require a good deal of trimming since you're thin. Might look into ata, etc if you don't mind some black showing between the leg pieces.
  15. About cache, cookies, and history Each time you access a file through your web browser, the browser caches (i.e., stores) it. Thus, the browser doesn't have to newly retrieve files (including any images on the page) from the remote web site each time you click Back or Forward. You should periodically clear the cache to allow your browser to function more efficiently. A cookie is a file created by a web browser, at the request of a web site, that is stored on a computer. These files typically store user-specific information such as selections in a form, shopping cart contents, or authentication data. Browsers will normally clear cookies that reach a certain age, but clearing them manually may solve problems with web sites or your browser. A browser's history is a log of sites that you visit. When you press a browser's Back button, you are moving back one entry the history log. Browsers will normally clear history at regular intervals, but you may want to clear it manually for privacy reasons.
