    Did everyone notice that Anovos has updated their "update" page for Star Wars? I've been pining after the imperial officer standard line uniform for a while now but didn't want to order because it said a minimum of one year lead time from the release date which was July 2015. Now it shows Q1 of 2016 so I went ahead and placed the preorder

    If half of the items they are now projecting q1 actually start shipping before April 1 I'd be watching for flying pigs.

     

    I've fallen for your estimates too many times anovos. Beginning to think maybe I misread the initial Vader estimate to be may 2016?

    I cancelled my order just over a month ago and was refunded less $50 USD of the $650 USD I paid

     

    Didn't think much of it

     

     

    I don't see that ANYWHERE in my documents, nor on the web site.

    So they are using your money interest free for 9 or 10 months then charge you a fee issue a refund?

     

    This deal gets worse and worse all the time.

    Well if ANOVOS holds true to their reported shipping dates, it should be sometime within the next month that we finally see the controversial hardware.

    Over / under date for actual delivery of the first batch of Anovos TK armor?

     

    I'm guessing February 1 may be optimistic.  ( given their recent history with the Vader )

    At the Anovos panel at Celebration - they said that KW helped them make the armor for the TFA stormtroopers.

    Apparently they like to have the help of unlicensed armor makers when they need the help.

     

    It will be interesting to see if Anovos gets into the Clone or animated clone armor producing.  Then will they turn on the guy that helped them make the TFA armor?

    As I stated before, this is a full recast of an RS kit. All this hype about Anovos going to the archives and scanning original armour was BS. They have simply recast an RS kit and all the parts that Rob from RS sculpted are there to see. Same with their Snowtrooper kit - just an MC with no connection to any original parts which was supposed to be scanned too. I haven't studied their TIE gear but I would bet they did the same thing there.

     

    Enjoy your original kits everyone :)

     

     

    Anovos has said that with the Snowtrooper, TIE, ATAT - that they are using MC as an example - that those pictures were NOT their own.  I'm not sure whose products they used for their Vader pictures.  I have to assume that with all those pieces that they had not even gotten to the point where they could produce their own prototype.

     

    the TK is the first armor that they have stated from the beginning was their own sculpt prototype used on the pictures.
