  1. Attach vocoder?

    On one of my helmet kits the vocoder comes seperatly just like the fx helmet. How do you attach this to the helmet. You have nothing but the edges to glue on and it wont stick with superglue which i thing is the only glue to use when glueing precision. Any other ideas...maybe glue som screws on the inside of the vocoder?

    Hello<br>

    My first build was 7 years ago so have forgotten alot :) I only have legs, arms and helmet left. Right now Im having trouble how I solved this last time so here it goes...this is about cutting the legs. Should i glew when i have them opend and a perfect match on the front lines and then force them togheter at the back like the first pic or shall I cut of a line when I try to hold them toghter like the second pic?

    Sold my armor 2011 and has been away from all this for a while. I had a PT armor that i really liked. Now i deff need to make a new one and among the kist that are out there is ATA the best if you want one for a low price and have a screen accurate? Is it nice and shining from the start or do you need to paint it?

    Any other kits I should concider thats not in the high price range?

    Very very impressive.

     

    Will your battle damaged one have a bit of reptile skin exposed? (Sort of like how makers are putting bits of exposed zombie in death trooper helmets?)

     

    PS The voice-changer is only needed for the mini-series. With a tighter budget on the TV series, the Visitors mysteriously lost their voice warble. :P

     

     

    Yep im going to cut out about half the visor so one can se the lenses (lizzard) and have some repitle skin on the chin :)

    And i do have an rifle now :)

    Im gonna destroy one of my helmets and have it battle dammage :) Im gonna make some holes in the main helmet and cut of part of the visor so you can see the lenses im getting soon :)

     

    Anyone know how a laser damage should look in colors on black...should there be any white stuff there?

    Well i know i am not totaly done yet but i could not stop myself from trying on :) The helmet sits perfect on the head...not to high and not to low....Im going to let an taylor get loose on the coverall ( from waist and down, its way to big) but other than that im happy :) It was hard to take pics alone..my women is out of the contry for a week so i will post full body when she comes home :)

    Well here is todays work :)

     

    I have dremeld one of the helmet Im doing. I need to sand it..its only rough dremeld so far! I had a plan to be finished today but man this 2 last days have been snowy and cold...and standing outside with no glows in snowy weather and dremel for 1 h is not to greate :)

    Ahh soon summer and then one can sit outside and do stuff like this :)

    WOW!!!

     

    Looking fantastic :duim:

     

    I have to get one of those shocktrooper uniforms one day. Those were always my favourites back when 'V' was on the telly in the 80's.

     

     

    Yeah Im telling you:) me to :) Its somthing stange with the stormtrooper and shoocktroopers they are pritty much the same but in a diffrent world :)

    The helmet looks absolutley awsome..a little meaner than the stormtroopers :)

     

    Man o man...im so going to finish the helmets tomorrow :)
