  1. I must recommend this mod (both front and back abs) as it gives you the flexibility that won't know you need - until you need it. And as the belt covers the split no one can tell you have the ability for added mobility. From one split opinion Thx, Ed
  2. We're number #1, we're number #1.. Heck, keep it! First Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. Very first in and very last out. Thx, Ed
  3. I actually took a green welding face shield and made two sent of lenses of out it. All it took was a good pair of scissors and a little leverage to cut through. Way better than the stock lenses in a FX kit. Thx, Ed
  4. Exodus

    Dragoncon

Maybe next year, can't fly and ditch the wife with our new baby...
  5. Throw in one more addition, however its going to have a tough climb up with an ongoing vote... Or, we save that name (I like it) for other stuff like for a t-shirt, etc... Thx, Ed
  6. I'm not much of an artist, but I'm working on my idea today and should post it in a few hours. Thx, Ed
  7. Does anyone have any opinions of the TE2 armor? I've seen posts on various forums that is sounds like its coming soon, or may already be available. Anyway care to comment on any facts regarding this armor?
  8. No concern of an overload to the fan drawing all that current from the 9Volts in series?
  9. I did a quick google search and found a few website including a listing an ebay. I can PM you the links if you are interested. Thx, Ed
  10. I posted a question to Tk-1536 earlier this year and he provided me those pics and the following insight: Take a piece of 9 inch wide canvas and fold it over three times and sew it together. The length around the waist is up to you as to how you want to wear it. You can run it all the way around and rivet the abs to it. Or you can have two pieces with the abs belt in the middle. This is my next mod and hope to have it done soon...
  11. Rob, very cool of you. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Sounds like a great mod, can't wait to see how it turned out!
  13. Even though it not always be there, I just can't fathom a TK without a TD... one opinion. Thx, Ed
  14. I've done okay with two fans, one behind the grill sucking air in and one low in the helmet circulating air around my sweaty chin. I haven't had my lens ever fog up, which is odd and I don't have any anti fogging on them. Thx, Ed
  15. Folks, Please keep the thread free of any derogatory statements towards sexual preference, race, or religion on the boards. We do not want offend any members and / or have our detachment application disapproved due to misconduct on the boards. Please direct any questions directly to me in a PM. Thx, Ed
  16. Here's a great list of websites for those just getting started on a suit of armor (copied from the legion forum): Reference Sites: h-----
  17. Adding to the thread, Novish polish does a really decent job. The lighter fluid ( and paint thinner) is good for those hard to clean spots. Especially when you have painting mishaps (which has been my recent nightmare). Thx, Ed
  18. Great comments in keeping with movie accuracy. Keep them coming as we want the standards to be perfect. Thx, Ed
  19. Great helmet, too bad that tropper "fell" into paint and dirt... Thx, Ed
  20. So a different question, but related. How big is your tub to carry all that stuff? Do you carry your armor in one tub and then a tool kit with the stuff (like deo)? Thx, Ed
  21. It is a great mod, I did it myself. At a trooping event I sat down, and two TK's looked at me in disbelief. Since we have a sewing machine expert I have to ask: My wife wants a sewing machine but I have no idea what to look for. Any suggestions on feature you got to have or not (etc) ? Thx, Ed
