  1. Merry Christmas to everyone at FISD. Or at the very least Happy Holidays!
  2. Hmmm, it appears I'm going against the grain here. I believe we should include and welcome the FU TK's to FISD. At this point this is only discussion. But, if and when the Legion approves the costume it should belong here. Lucas can and will continue to add and expand his character and story base. With the new Clone Wars cartoon and pending TV show there is likely to be more connections between clones and tk's. Since this (FU) is in between the story and not after (expanded) its makese sense to welcome these costume types. Further, unlike TX's we are talking mods to the white base versus a completely new base color (aka black). Further the armor is the same, so unless the armor is different I don't see why we shouldn't include the FU TK's. And let's also be prepared for the new tv show and potentially another new breed of TK's. Agreed?
  3. I too have a myspace account but I rarely use it and the new user requests I receive aren't costumers its spam. My preference, keep fisd discussions and interest on FISD. Considering how fast we are growing we don't need the myspace spam here. Please do not create a myspace page on behalf of FISD.
  4. Take a screen cap the next time you have the error. Thanks
  5. My armor is stuffed in the back garage behind all the living room furniture due to our home remodel. So no trooping anytime soon.
  6. Dressing is easy, unpacking your armor from a tub and setting it all out so you can reach for the pieces while getting dressed in a crampt place - priceless Oh and watch out for cats while you are putting on your TD
  7. You need to insulate your speakers away from the boom mic. I used great stuff foam plus a layer of canvas and that has helped.
  8. If you sweet easily (like I do), the Nomex are great. You don't end the day with black hands...
  9. I have one of each and Wyatt's all in one is just so much easier. Plus, I love the looks of shock from other troopers when I just zip up the back and I'm done with my shirt.
  10. Folks, Please respect that the seller has the right to sell at whatever price he (or she) deems appropriate. If you don't agree with it that's fine. But it is not necessary to poke fun at a fellow member of the forum. Unnecessary comments have been edited.
  11. Fantastic, detailed and completely pictured thread!
  12. Sorry to hear the web was used against you Craig. It will be interesting to see what happens to the myspace generation when they become parents or public service officials with an online history... Likely the same generation giving you a hard time right now. What's the saying, what comes around....
  13. Happy Birthday my GGG friend!

Drop boxes is the commonly used descriptive term.
  15. On this day of Thanks, I want to thank everyone who contributes to FISD. You the members make FISD what it is, for that I am thankful. Happy Thanksgiving aka Turkey Day. Safe returns to those travelling.
  16. Topics closed, please refer to rpf for pics. Discussion has gone off topic.
  17. Great posts guys. If and when the project is asked to be completed, these photos will be used for the 501st costume reference library.
  18. John, I have the skullworx kit for my FX helmet. I went with it because when I built my helmet I didn't have / want to spend the time building up my own unit. If you want a complete unit I highly recommend BOMMAR (search our site). Otherwise, build up what you need with radio shack parts. Third option, skull. Happy turkeyday
  19. Howdy, I'm in San Jose and work in Sunnyvale. Like Anthony suggested, sign into the goldengategarrison.com forum and introduce yourself to fellow folks in the area. Even if you don't have armor ready you can meet fellow garrison mates at events. Do you have any immediate questions we can answer for you? Welcome on board.
  20. PM Scott M, he can has a vinyl cutter and can hook you up.
  21. Here's a few more pics for the evening. We are great rooming the old living and kitching, so a huge beam had to be inserted to support the roof, the wall was actually removed today (no pics yet). Of course the day the cut into the roof it rained (hence the blue tarp cover). -------- Btw, our kitchen is now gone, living in the master and kids room for the next month. SUCKS! And here picture looking into the old living room the front windows have been moved into the new spot behind me. That wall boarded up leads into the current/old kitchen and dining area (now a demo mess). ----------
