  1. Hey Jez, That looks utterly fantastic! Well done, I'm really looking forward to geeking out over that. As for torrenting: -----------
  2. Congrats, Mark. 1000 posts deserves a... Billy, thanks for the pics... again! I will be chopping this bad boy down to size. It does look freakishly large. *edit: Done! It's now 19.00cm / 7½" It actually wasn't all that far out. I re- and re-measured and found it was 19.06cm. The plate in the middle wasn't very centred, so the 6mm came off one end.
  3. Hi there, Jehudah! Thank you for working all the sizes out, I'm in the middle of making my cylinders. Never attempted a scratch build before, so thanks for helping me get my feet wet too!
  4. It's Canadian flights, mate. Stupidly expensive.
  5. I'm not letting my kids near this thread. DaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaDDDD!!!! Can I......
  6. My TD came with my SDS armour and is about 20cm long. It has a plastic belt clip riveted to the back (see photos.) Is the size acceptable, or does it need trimmed down? Does the plastic clip need replaced with metal? Thanks.
  7. Boots look good if dyed properly. The toe is a bit more square than trooper boots, but not sure if this is a problem. 1. Open an account at ---------and login to it. 2. Right click on the image on the website you want to display in a post. 3. Save the image to your desktop. 4. Upload the image to your photobucket account (brows for images on your computer). 5. You will be shown the chosen image in your image list with some link codes below it when you hover over it. 6. Copy the one that has-------- 7. Paste that code into your post and preview your post to see the image is inserted correctly before posting. 8. Once you're happy, post away! Seems complicated at first, but you'll get used to it. You can hotlink images from other sites, but it's frowned upon (not to say I haven't done it.)
  8. I know how you feel. When I ordered my SDS I waited nearly 14 weeks for delivery.
  9. OMG, Paul, you are a serious master craftsman. That is superb, what a lucky kid!
  10. Hi guys, thanks to Mark, I got bits sorted out to make my cylinders. I knocked up this template to make things easier. The holes are marked 0.5mm smaller so you can sand/file them out to fit your tubes exactly. Print this at 300dpi and you'll get it at the right size.
  11. Yeah, I think that'll be me too, DC.
  12. Looking great guys!. Sorry, but how tall is that Chewie!?
  13. I just read this thread, Darrel. So sorry to hear about your tragic loss. These experiences change us in ways we can't imagine. They cause us to hiccup and get stuck in a painful loop. I learned recently in order to accept these changes and to leave the person you were behind you let time do it's work. You can look back on the good times with joy. We can never go back, but go forwards knowing this with acceptance. You are in my thoughts.
  14. I suppose it's not really a problem, I mean if your hands are that bent over, you might be screaming and not too worried about cracked paint at that point.
  15. Would love to become Elite, but I still have a pile of stuff to do before clearance, even. Good luck to al those nearly ready for Elite.
  16. If you need anything in the UK, DC and they're being awkward about shipping to the US, just let me know, ok?
