Hi Chris, and thank you for your submission for ANH Stunt Centurion!

    CRL and CENTURION Application Requirements:

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion #513.  Congratulations!  :salute:

    Other-Armor Fit/Assembly;

In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.

Overall a fantastic build, brother.  There are a few items that we sincerely hope you will consider upgrading to make this armor really look top-notch!

As seen below, both colors on the ab button plates should have the same finish.  The gray looks perfect, but the blue has a dull (matte) appearance.

                                                                                                                      Reference image

We are suggesting that the TD clips be replaced because of the extra holes.  Not the biggest of deals as they cannot be seen, but the originals didn't have them.

                                                                                                                                                                              Reference image

Last up is the Hengstler counter. In a perfect world it should set back farther and be angled slightly, almost at the same angle as the folding stock.  There are several variations on height, but that would be up to you.

                                                                                                                                                                                       Reference images

And that's it!  Again, a fine job on this TM kit, and if you are ever in Squad 7 territory I look forward to trooping with ya'... now it's time to get out and make the FLG proud as our newest Centurion!  :salute:

    Joseph,

Thank you so much for your support and expert in-site. I am blown away that I am among this group of elite troopers. To think there are only 513 in the world blows my mind. I am honored to be among you and will troop with pride.

I will take care of the items pointed out ASAP.

I don't get to Squad 7 territory too often, but if you are ever want to troop with the Makaze squad, you are invited as my personal guest. I try to troop 4-5 times a month so there is a good chance I will be at a troop should you decide to visit.

    Again, Thank you!

    Chris

  3. Thank you so much for you kind words!!!!! Next Saturday will be my first troop with my TK. I will make sure to take care of all the items listed prior to the troop.

I would not have been able to complete this build without all of the members contributions that I used to learn from. The White Armor is a treasure trove of information at your fingertips and a friendly, helpful group of people.

Hopefully at some point I will be able to give back and help others with their builds.

    Next stop CENTURION!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I thought the frown might me boarder line.

    I'm on it!

Thank you for the incredibly fast response too.

I'll post new pictures of the frown as soon as I can. Most Likely this weekend.

Do you recommend any paint remover.

I read Isopropyl Alcohol, Mineral Spirits & Goo Gone will work. I have 90% Isopropyl Alcohol I use to clean my 3D printed resin parts. I will start with that.

Again thank you for the compliments and quick response.

SUPER nice job on this build, Chris.. lots of great attention to detail!  The only things I can suggest at this point are to rotate the shoulder bells back a little which will help close up the gap in the back, and maybe drop the left forearm down a bit so that the gaps between them and the top of the hand guards are the same on both sides.

Once you get your Basic approval, I hope to see your submission for Expert Infantry!  :jc_doublethumbup:

    Thank you for the pointers.

My wife helped me and did the best she could but doesn't really know what she is looking for even though I explained it and provided example pictures.

I noticed those things and a couple other minor issues. I am already working to correct them.

  7. I have been able to put in a lot of time during the Christmas break (The company I work for closes between Christmas & New Year). I finished assembly of the shins & thighs.

I also completed most of the strapping and built my sound clip play back unit. Similar to the Micom but with 10 triggers, one on each finger. I designed this unit for my Boba and duplicated it for the TK.

Today I was able to put on some of the lower armor and do some fitting. I've also been reading other EI & Centurion submissions and learning what to look for/focus on.

Please let me know if you see anything wrong. I would love to fix problems now if possible.
