  2. I guess it would be kind of akward is some say proudly: " Ich bin TruppenKrieger 421" I don't like the idea of TKs being "space Nazis" LOL k.
  3. The Nazi soldiers in WWII were also called "Sturmtruppen" which is a direct translation of "stormtroopers". Just a thought K.
  4. thanks ´Billy! THAT is exactly the template I was looking for. What would the correct thickness be? K.
  5. I'm looking for a template to make an accurate helmet lining, I DID try to draw my own (as somebody suggested), but my drawing skill are quite limited. Can someone please help me out? Cheers, K.
  6. It looks you mix hero style (3 "humps") and stunt style éars (4 humps). Very cool build up! K.
  7. have the same problem, but right click and "save target as" helped. K.
  8. I think the "red" helmet is his wifes "pink" ATA helmet
  9. I second that... Progress pics, please'! out of personal interest. Hey, correct me if I am wrong, but this could be the first ATA build up thread K. Good luck! Ps: Why would you order ab buttons?
  10. okay, I am relatively new to this trooper thing, but after several hours of reading and staring at pics and trying to get to know all the rules and player involved, some of my questions are still unanswered. Here is one of them: AP is said to be one of the only "legtimate" producers (besides GINO), the molds having allegidly "touched the inside of an actual, screen used helmet". Then, how come it is significantly smaller than even a re-re--recast CAP helmet? How does one explain the shrinkage? Please forgive if I'am asking a "no-no" question (again), I just want to know and learn... Regards, Karin
  11. I'd like to revive this thread, because I want to learn more about the "many differences" between the ANH armor and the versions of the current maker. Some visual comparisons would be nice. thanks in advance, K.
  12. Okay, thank you everybody: So it was only on one side, after all? K.
  13. Hombre, I really understand you. I just came frome my garage. I already started assembling my AP helmet.... and already got some questions. LOL Helmet building is a science for its own. K.
  14. thanks. i hope paint will stick. they are just $20.-
  15. just found these. are they accurate enough`? also, they are made of pvc. would white paint stick to them? K.
  16. I should have known that Paul is really THE troopermaster- Thank you, sir. While looking at the pics, a new question has come to me: I nthe pics where the two grab the wookie arm, you can see some sort of hook on the bicep. Is there any info on this feature? I don't think I have seen that very often... Karin Edit: foound the thread regarding the hook http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?show...402&hl=hook
  17. According to TK300's homepage, there have been at least 3 kinds of handplates usedin ANH. Are there pics available of the other two styles? have they ever been replicated? Karin
  18. Okay, Right now I'm trying to trim my AP ears and I've read this paragraph a hundred times.. I still cannot grasp the meaning of this. Would somebody be so can to expleain me in plain English? Maybe a pic? I really don't want to screw up "my" ears. Karin
  19. Thank you everybody! Muchas gracias! That helped a lot. Karin
  20. --'kay, please forgive me if I enter a "bad territory" here. but as I am completety new to all this and I just learned about the "recast wars", one question came to me: Please help to enlighten me: A recast show softer details. Right. The last few days I have been watching at A LOT of helmets from differnt makers. But I still don't find so many differnces (despite differnt "cap 'n backs") Does some have a direct/side-by-side picture comparison? (helmet, armor) with big circles so I can finally see? I keep looking at my original AP bucket and at some ESB CAP pics... But my AP seems softer ?!?!??! WTF? Please, I want to learn, And I have 30+ years of trooper history to learn (I added a lot of new vocabulary to my english. ) If this is kind of a "no-no thread" please ignore and delete Karin PS: BTW: I love this forum. A LOT helpful and nice people here. I is a real please to be around here.
  21. Thank´you! Does anyone WHY it is there? By accident? a feature? Regards, Karin
