  1. Hello Matthew....I have a question...Have you modified anything on the helmet?. Are you sure it's a helmet from Authentic Props, Canada?

ANH Stunt: A total of 8 cut outs in the teeth area of the frown are present.

Hero: Six total teeth on the frown are cut out and the frown is tapered at the ends.

In addition to other things (ear screws, lenses, joints...). The helmet, as it is, is not even approvable for basic level.

  2. Hi James, and thank you for your submission for ANH Stunt Centurion!

    CRL and CENTURION Application Requirements:

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION.  Congratulations!  :salute:

    Other-Armor Fit/Assembly;

In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team.  Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that  we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.

Nothing to add. You have corrected everything that was requested, so we can only congratulate you for your new Centurion badge.
    Congratulations #523!!!:th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

  3. Hi James, and thank you for your EIB application!

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry.  Congratulations!  :salute:

Thank you for your patience, James. The armor looks spectacular!:th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

As you can see, a few details and it will be ready for Centurion.

It appears that Velcro or glue traces can be seen on the calves. If it is Velcro, maybe closing the calves a little more will solve the problem. The left seems to be a little open, a simple dressing issue. :duim:

    Centurion Requirements:

In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval.  Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper.

L3.The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.

Trimming the edge a little will be enough. On the right side, it will probably be necessary to move one of the squares,.:jc_doublethumbup:

                                                                                                                                                                              Reference images

The finishing of the blaster is too "rough". While the rest of the weapon looks good(maybe paint some silver screws;)), we would suggest removing the scope/Hengstler etc., and sanding it down (at least to get rid of the large bumps) and repainting it.

  4. Hi Luca. as Caleb rightly said, you still have to do some fixes...

You must also fix this, as it is a requirement for the basic level.:

                                                                                                                                                    Reference images

    NptWGnS.jpg           kwa9mNJ.jpg

For basic level, they can be stickers, but if you want to apply for higher levels, they must be hand painted....

I'm sure you can do that. Hope to see your EI application soon!!!!:salute:

  5. Hi James.

While we are working on your request, we need you to correct the TD position, as it is currently one of the requirements for L1.

L1-The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap.

You may be able to fix it easily if you move the TD a little bit away from its supports. In addition, the TD will be at the same height as the canvas belt, which is more screen accurate.

An easy fix, James. I think your armor looks great, and won't need much more work.:jc_doublethumbup:

Best regards and thanks for your patience.

  6. Hi Gary, and thank you for your EIB application!

    CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry.  Congratulations!  :salute:

Starting from the top, it looks like your helmet is too high. You may be able to remove some padding, especially from the upper area so that the helmet can be lowered.

And remember:, the CRL recommends the following:" Mesh may be used behind the frown to obscure the face of the wearer".  In the photo where you show the green lenses on the helmet, we can see that you are not wearing it. We recommend you to put it on to preserve the anonymity that makes children especially, let their imagination fly when thinking about who is inside the helmet.;)

                                                                                                                                                                                             Reference images

    Atl9PPb.jpg   A46a9OT.jpg             cn45Imf.png   lWN15kU.png

-L3.Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them.

As we have commented on other occasions, and they are not too "deviated", we add it as a recommendation.:duim:

                                                                                                                                                                                           Reference images

Your shoulder straps are slightly raised.Perhaps by tightening the white elastic a little, you can make them sit on the armor.

                                                                                                                            Reference images

    AKudWJk.jpg                   I580cCf.jpg   MJuOFKd.jpg   ACTwld3.jpg

The TD is a little high. It should be about the same height as the canvas belt.

                                                                                                                                                                          Reference images

The counter on your Blaster seems to be a little backwards. It's not much, so we'll leave it as a recommendation. It already depends on the level of accuracy you like.

                                                                                                                                                            Reference images

The left side of your chest armor protrudes too far outward. In addition, it can be somewhat uncomfortable in your movements. Perhaps tightening the straps that connect the chest and abdomen a bit will solve the problem. Otherwise, a hot water bath of that area may be necessary, or use a hot air pistol (I do not recommend it if you have not used one before :duimomlaag:, as the armor could be "deformed").

    8iLTHj1.jpg                     n938OSK.png   xBdwWlP.jpg

The rivets of the kidney plate are too far from their ideal position. They should be removed, new holes drilled and the old holes covered with abs paste. It looks more complicated than it really is. If you need help, we are here to help you.:jc_doublethumbup:

                                                                                                                                                                   Reference images

-L3. The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.

Perhaps trimming the edge a little will be enough. If not, it might be necessary to move the square buttons to trim a little more.

                                                                                                                                                                                                               Reference image

    JFD1jsZ.jpg   4y3YTE9.jpg                   tapurFb.png

-L3. Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable.

It's very little. You will easily solve it with a little ABS paste, sugru or similar.

                                                                                                                                                                                                         Reference images

    eqHLCi8.jpg             L5RoqxX.jpg    dA0qo3c.jpg

-L3. The blaster may have minor weathering or base metal exposure however, T-tracks and grips shall be of a black plastic appearance with no silver/metallic weathering allowed.

It may be the photo, but there appears to be some weathering on the grip and T-tracks. A coat of matte black paint and that's it.:jc_doublethumbup:

    IjD6oPM.jpg   51z5JCH.jpg           udtK1ak.png

    Congratulations!!!:th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:
