[Let me see some helmet builds (looking at inside ideas)]

I kinda' went overboard on my HWT bucket.  I based it on the "real" TK helmet, (first pic) and incorporated the fans into the "earpieces" and the batteries into the side compartments.  The entire inside is lined in craft foam...I wasn't sure if it would take up too much room, but it worked out well.

I wear RWA armour and was cleared at the beginning of this week. I’m looking forward to getting out trooping and meeting other members and STILL can’t believe I’m actually a Stormtrooper!

It really was a fantastic kit for my first build and I’ve had some excellent help and encouragement along the way.

The amount of threads I followed and times I thought how awesome people looked in their armour...I never thought I’d get mine anywhere near! I’m really pleased with it and it’s great accolade indeed receiving such fantastic compliments from u guys!

I’ll get put in for EIB as soon as my ID comes thru and I’ve already started on the salad and cut chocolate and crisps out to try close my gaps up!

I lined my lid in black EVA foam sheets then used cut up car sponges and covered those in foam for the padding then added a colour coded Troopacoola fan system.

Yeh, I thought the side gaps would need to be reduced but I don’t fancy trying to add shims. I’m gonna try drop a little puppy fat and breathe in for the approval photos

Hey everyone! Finally managed to get my RWA ANH Stunt TK build finished at the weekend and received my notice of clearance today. Still awaiting my TKID but thought I’d throw myself out there and see what’s happening

Wow! Thanks Tino! That really is accolade coming from u! Thank u for the kind words! I think I will take yr advice (and Dans) and paint it black just to be on the safe side before I submit it for clearance. No point falling short at this stage...right, time to get started with my armour!

Ok...all put together now and I’m really happy with it. It’s not perfect up close but I never expected that and I’m sure it will be good enough for trooping. Just one thing Dan pointed out to me...the D ring...do I need to paint that black for clearance or can I get away with it?
