  1. I didn’t glue it to the sugru- I fastened the lenses directly to the sugru as it dried. Was a BIG pain in the.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Wook- you should hook this Badlander up with some Maple Moose Eisley action! Once he completes his build, of course! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Hi Matt- intotally hear you about the nerves when working on ABS; you feel like one little screw up and you’re done. It’s actually not that bad, coming from someone who had ZERO costuming experience. You’ll do fine. You have a good support system here In the FISD! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Nice! How far along are you with the build? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Lol! Just grabbing random people as they walk by, huh? [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I agree. It looked good to me, but I guess I don’t have a well-trained eye for this sort of thing... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. David- the switching out of screws should take no more than 5 mins, tops! [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Wow dude, superglue? You ever see Predator? You remind me of the scene where the one guy says to Jesse Ventura, “you’re bleeding.” To which he responded, “I don’t got time to bleed” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Ok, so the repair has been made: With rubber s trim attached and glued into place: But, I realized the clamps made this dent in the plastic- you can see it better at this angle: Again, luckily, this is underneath and towards the neck, so you can’t see it. But still, the helmet is like my Precious. Oh well, what can you do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You said I didn’t because we had another bet which I won. I didn’t remember what it was for, but you brought it to my attention and said we were even. You don’t remember? It’s probably on page 47 on Lorelei’s thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. What’s her count up to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Agreed. After consulting Frank, Wook, Sly, and a buddy from my garrison, I decided to not use the paste. One, I’m glad that I don’t have to as it saves me the extra step and time. And two, my luck, I’d make a paste the wrong way and melt holes into the helmet and cause even more damage. So, I will post pics once it has another few hours to dry. 20. The horror of what happened yesterday still sends chills up my spine.....I was filming a quick video for my YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN2jWuTVPm-oOeretX2YLWw ).As I was taking my helmet off, I dropped it on the floor. Upon picking it up, I found a 1-inch crack below the chin by the neck line: My reaction: I swooped into action to apply plastic behind the tear to keep it from tearing any further: Luckily the S-trim will cover some of the crack, and it’s below the chin so won’t be noticeable. I just didn’t realize how thin the plastic is on this part of the helmet. Ugh... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Hey all, After much discussion with a couple buddies on here, Frank and Wook, I have decided to start a small YouTube channel called, “The Stacking Stormtrooper”. The channel’s focus is on precious metals, prepping for emergency situations, and Star Wars. I have found the precious metal and prepping communities to be rather serious, sometimes dull. I figure with my quirky sense of humor, and preference to stay anonymous, delivering the content while wearing a Stormtrooper helmet does a good job. It’s already being well-received in just a matter of days. With that, if you’d like to check it out and support my channel, please follow the link below. I’d love for you to SUBSCRIBE! Also, please like, share, comment, etc. I only ask that you PLEASE keep any personal information you know about me (name, where I’m from, what I do for a living, etc.) PRIVATE. Thanks so much everyone!
