  1. Thank you for the suggestions and feedback! I'll take this into consideration and see what I can do!
  2. After looking over a number of other Centurion applications, I decided to raise my brow trim to become a high brow-er! I think it looks pretty cool! I had always liked the low brow look, but the high brow look slowly grew on me.
  3. Hello FISD team! For your consideration, here is my (hopefully) Centurion-ready ANH stunt TK! This armor has gone through a heck of a lot of changes, and I couldn't be more proud of how far I've come with it. Name: Ian Malinoski Forum Name: WodiQuix Legion ID: 22418 Armor Maker: RS Props Helmet Maker: RS Props Blaster Maker: DoopyDoos Boots Maker: ImperialBoots Canvas Belt Maker: Imperial Issue Hand Plate Type: White Latex Electronics: iComm and Aker Amp/microphone Neck Seal Maker: Geeky Pink Holster Maker: TrooperBay EIB Thread: Thank you again for your consideration! I'm looking forward to hearing from the experts.
  4. Too bad there are height requirements! Ugh. I find the "full range of movement" requirement a little funny. Have they worn TK armor before?
  5. Here is the D-ring again. First coat of paint applied. I may leave it at this, for a weathered look.
  6. Here are the TD screw close-ups. As I said previously I also moved up my brow trim as much as it could go. In addition, I decided to make my painted ab buttons smaller to more closely match the sizes of the ones seen in ANH.
  7. Thanks! I've already moved my brow as much as it can go up. It looks pretty good, now!
  8. Apologies again! Here's some more of the necessary photos (I decided to do the submission late at night). The cod strapping, sniper knee plate and the thigh ammo knee with painted split rivet.
  9. Well, I forgot one photo! Here's a picture of my S-trim for my bucket.

  11. Wow, awesome job! I'm hoping to join you soon in Centurion-ness!
  12. TK-22418 requesting 501st access! https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=28904
  13. Yeah, I was planning on making an inside tab to keep the right side closed. Pandatrooper gave me the idea. Thanks!
  14. Yeah, I'm in the market for one. The one I have now is more of a thermal, which makes it much hotter underneath!
  15. I've been cursed with a long torso and short legs, so I'll try 1/2", but I think I'll have to resort to the 1" trim!
  16. I'll see about adjustments. Thanks! The one thing several people pointed out already is my thighs, recommending that I trim a bit (1" or 1 1/2" off the top to make it easier to walk and climb stairs). I think I'll do that as well.
  17. Hello! WodiQuix here with my newly finished RS Prop Masters ANH TK Stunt. It's been a crazy and sometimes frustrating ride, but it's worth it in the end. After basic, I'm hoping to move up the ranks to EIB and eventually Centurion. Thanks in advance! INFORMATION: 1. Ian Malinoski 2. Ohio Garrison 3. RS Prop Masters 4. RS Prop Masters 5. Trooperbay 6. 18. Hey everyone! I'm ready to submit for pre-approval! Here are some of the pictures requested. I'll take some more later today. Thank you to everyone who has helped me on this crazy and awesome journey! Going to finish up the blaster and suit electronics post-haste as well. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http://
  19. I don't have pictures yet, but I'll hopefully get some up later today. The thighs are raised just enough so that there's a small gap between cod and thigh.
  20. Clarification on question 2: My sniper knee plate was getting stuck under my armor when wanted to straighten my leg after taking a step.
  21. Hey all, I'm nearly done with my suit and ready to submit for pre-approval! The last thing on my list before submitting pictures (hopefully today!!) is to sew the thigh armor connector loops. http:// While getting approved, I'll also work more on my blaster, helmet fans, and the Aker amp connections inside my chest armor. Exciting times! I posted this on Facebook and got some helpful answers to my questions. OK, I used a pair of safety pins to make some loops in the thigh elastic and put everything (minus the boots) on for a test fit. I noticed several things: 1) My thighs, while in a good position, have a tendency to slightly slide up and down my legs. Is this normal, or should I put in some padding on the inside of the thighs? Padding was recommended 2) My sniper knee plate was getting stuck under my thigh armor, making it hard to bend my leg. I've already put spacers in the knee, but maybe the whole issue was that I had the back of the shins open and my boots off? Any ideas? Put padding on the backs of the thighs and front of the shins to push the sniper knee plate out. 3) My sides (ab and kidney) on both sides still don't line up. I'm not sure what else I can do, but I'd like them to sit flush with one another. Any suggestions? Shims, also pictures were requested (I'll first try the internal tab idea put out by pandatrooper and see if that works) 4) I sound extremely clunky when I walk, with all the armor crackling and creaking. Is this expected? A resounding YES! Some people recommended putting felt pieces on the backs of the drop boxes. I think I will do this.
  22. Thanks! No the backs of the thighs are still unglued. I still need to trim the tops down so they are a continuous line.
